Usui Reiki is a Japanese complementary practice that promotes relaxation and supports overall wellbeing. The word Reiki is commonly understood as a combination of two Japanese words: Rei, meaning universal, and Ki, meaning life force energy.
Developed by Mikao Usui in Japan in the early 20th century, Usui Reiki is traditionally practised by placing the hands gently on or just above the body, with the intention of supporting the flow of Reiki energy. Reiki can be received in person or offered as distant Reiki by a trained practitioner.
Reiki is gentle, non-invasive and can be received while fully clothed. During a session, you may experience a sense of warmth, relaxation or calm, although everyone's experience is different. Some people simply enjoy having dedicated time to pause, rest and reconnect with themselves.
At Diya Jyoti Holistic Wellness, I offer Usui Reiki with care and compassion, providing a calm and supportive space for you to relax and focus on your wellbeing.
